Difficult challenges that imply a cultural leap of the whole society but, at the same time, great Opportunities since they necessarily involve also the economic sphere.
Manageritalia tell us the story of Desamanera through an interview with mentor Donatello Aspromonte and our Antonino Italiano.
It’s called “Alternanza Scuola-Lavoro”, literally “alternation of school and work”. It’s a young apprenticeship programme designed for girls and boys who attend the last three years of high school, made mandatory all over Italy in the last 3 years.

The project “SUP3R & Co.: SUrface finishing, 3D Printing – Research & Communication” set up by the Veneto Region within the Regional Operational Program F.S.E. 2014-2020 fully reflects this quote.
Imagine a completely accessible city to all, without any architectural barrier. Does it seem utopian? Yet it may not be anymore, and Desamanera will have the honor to give its contribution to sensibilize young people (but not only) and deepen the link between architecture and usability of all the common spaces.

Also the horoscope says this will be the year of sustainability. Gandhi, in his own way, had already expected a time when man would have to deal with the exploitation of the planet. The commitments of many governments (not all of them unfortunately) and organizations are directed towards one single direction: environmental sustainability.
Desamanera, officially invited by organizators, will participate in the World Stone Congress 2017, scientific and informative conference at the Xiamen International Stone Fair in China.
The 17th edition, one of the most influential and important trade fair in the world, takes place from today to 9th March and will include conferences about design, architecture and the most advanced machinery’s technology, linked by the common thread of the macro-theme “respect for environment”.
Coastal erosion, the gradual disappearance of local marine fauna and of the coral reefs that provide a natural barrier to waves and a habitat for the marina fauna, must be considered the dramatic consequences of both environmental changes and manmade pollution and damage.
