Imagining a model, a shape, a function, a color is an exercise that directly follows creative activities. Creative professionals have the privilege of often going through that extraordinary process with which we visualize a perfectly defined image in our mind. However, they must also think about how to make it real: production, materials, how to highlight the details and all the other elements that make up the manufacturing process.
Industrial revolutions have from time to time radically changed societies and everyday life.
Innovations in production processes and new technologies are leading us to intelligent and effective management of resources, improved services and greater well-being.
Teamwork, comparison and discussion, union of multiple different skills and backgrounds and collaborations, particularly international ones, are essential for a dynamic and effective research and development.
Finally the necessary awareness and (it seems) determination that accompanies us to the Environmental and Climate challenges that we should absolutely face and win, in the shortest possible time.
Difficult challenges that imply a cultural leap of the whole society but, at the same time, great Opportunities since they necessarily involve also the economic sphere.
Once again the results are not long in coming: two 3D printed prototypes, born from the partnership between Desamanera and BAM, the German federal research center, within the AMITIE project, were on display at the Hannover Messe 2019 where in recent days the numerous visitors have seen them in person and touched their complexity.

The project “SUP3R & Co.: SUrface finishing, 3D Printing – Research & Communication” set up by the Veneto Region within the Regional Operational Program F.S.E. 2014-2020 fully reflects this quote.
Desamanera, officially invited by organizators, will participate in the World Stone Congress 2017, scientific and informative conference at the Xiamen International Stone Fair in China.
The 17th edition, one of the most influential and important trade fair in the world, takes place from today to 9th March and will include conferences about design, architecture and the most advanced machinery’s technology, linked by the common thread of the macro-theme “respect for environment”.
Coastal erosion, the gradual disappearance of local marine fauna and of the coral reefs that provide a natural barrier to waves and a habitat for the marina fauna, must be considered the dramatic consequences of both environmental changes and manmade pollution and damage.
The shape of Landscape House is inspired by the curves of a thin strip of paper wound on itself. A Moebius strip with wrapped surfaces. Let’s see how with the 3D printing is possible to transform even the smallest intuition in a large construction . Size don’t matter anymore. This is a house of about a thousand square meters!
Much more than a free-standing pavilion. Printing Radiolaria in large dimensions shows how with 3D printing all the problems with formwork and molds for suspended forms can be eliminated. But this project by Shiro Studio discloses something more. The architectural free-form design is just one layer away from you!
